Annabelle Creation is the fourth film to be released in the Conjuring Universe. Set in the 40s and 50s it follows the lives of Samuel Mullins (played by Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife Esther (played by Miranda Otto), whose daughter Annabelle dies after being hit by a car.
Samuel, who is a talented toymaker was crafting a doll for his daughter’s birthday before she died. But, unfortunately, the doll becomes a vessel for a malevolent spirit, which is hellbent on finding a fleshy host.
